Hi, I’m Shyam, the filmmaker behind Veil & Vows Wedding Films.
My journey behind the camera began with my very first camera. What started as a passion for photography soon grew into a love for motion pictures and the power they have to preserve real stories and genuine emotion.
Before specialising in weddings, I worked on documentaries, stage productions and live events, and later collaborated with leading studios across Australia. Those experiences shaped my eye for storytelling and taught me to stay calm, adaptable and prepared in any environment.
Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of filming more than 300 weddings across Australia, including destination celebrations in Queenstown, Auckland and Fiji, and leading videography teams on large-scale wedding productions.
After moving to Mudgee, I created Veil & Vows with a simple belief: your wedding should not feel like a production. It should let you stay present on your wedding day while I quietly preserve the moments you’ll want to relive for years to come.
